In pursuit of a front-page story, a New York Times reporter finds herself in the middle of the humanitarian crisis occurring in Darfur. Her persistent search unintentionally endangers the lives of a foreign aid worker and a Darfuri woman who faces certain death if caught sharing what she knows.
