Jim leads a dull and uneventful life. His evenings consist of reminiscing on fond childhood memories, listening to the radio, and deciding whether or not to put sugar on his cornflakes. The monotony of Jim's existence has him on the brink of collapse, until his world is flipped upside down when a bumbling bank robber named Sherman and his partner in crime Manny enter his apartment, and find themselves in a conflict that will change all of their lives forever. Heist is a comedy about the strength of friendship and loyalty, and the lack of communication that threatens break it all apart.
